the new ttp-247 thermal transfer desktop barcode printerseriesdelivers more performance for the price than any otherprinter inits class. based on the design of its best-sellingpredecessor, thettp-245 plus, the ttp-247 runs at an impressive 7inches persecond, printing up to 4 inches wide at 203 dpiresolution. asecond model in the series – the ttp-345 – offers highresolution300 dpi printing at 5 inches per second. both modelsoffer 8 mb ofsdram and 4 mb of onboard flash memory. gigabytes offlash memorycan be added via an onboard sdhc card reader.
ttp-247 series offers usb 2.0, parallel and serialconnectivity,plus an optional ethernet port for networking. it alsoincorporatesthe tspl-ez? printer-control language, which is fullycompatiblewith other tsc printer languages, while supportingtple(translation printer language eltron?) and tplz(translationprinter language zebra?). the languages automaticallydecipher andtranslate the format of each label as it is sent to theprinter.tspl-ez? also features internal scalable true type fonts(based onthe monotype? font engine), which are typically found onlyin moreexpensive printers.
