the nps 03 is a position control for owis nanopositionerswithpiezo drive and measuring system. it is available as 1-axis,2-axisor 3-axis version. parallel operation is possible. thecontrol hasa stable metal housing and can be operated via a pcusing a usbinterface.
the nps 03 is designed for open-loop and closed-loop operationandhas several motion and positioning functions. using theaac(automatic amplitude control), the step sizes are set to 300 nmandexactly controlled. precise, constant motion is possible.thecontrol works in a fine positioning mode which enables aresolutionof 50 nm (theoretical ＆#118alue) in closed-loopoperation.
for applications where no electrical noise is accepted, thefinepositioning mode can be deactivated. the positioning sequenceendswith a full step, the drive is idle.
in manual operation, single steps and continuous stepswithselectable velocity are possible. an automatic referencemotionrounds off the extensive positioning functions.
the control observes the measuring system in thenanopositioner.malfunction or breakdown are displayed. the nps 03is deliveredready for connection, the power supply is integrated.additional tothe connecting cable and the usb cable, a cd withcorrespondingdocuments as well as a software tool and the sdk forc, c++ andlabview are part of delivery.
a usb 1.1 (or higher) interface as well as win 2000 or win xparerequired.
